Designed to be the finest practice and teaching facility of any private club in America, the Jim Ferree Learning Center at Belfair offers large multiple tees, putting and chipping greens, practice bunkers for greenside and fairway shots and a variety of target fairways and greens.

Central to the 29-acre Learning Center is a 1,800 sq. ft. building, with an indoor hitting room, a refreshment center and video library. The indoor hitting room and classroom combination includes state-of-the-art video equipment for taping from all directions. With the overhead door raised, golfers can hit full shots directly into the practice area.

Attached to the building are four all weather brick hitting stalls equipped with fans. Flanking the building is a 5,000 sq .ft, putting green and a larger practice tee.

Adjacent to the building is the short-game practice facility. Two practice greens flank the short game area, offering Members an opportunity to work on every conceivable chip, pitch and bunker shot.

The Jim Ferree Learning Center is named in honor of Belfair's original Director of Golf, Jim Ferree, an accomplished amateur, PGA Tour and Senior PGA Tour member.
